Improvement is a process that is never achieved over night. So the fact that most of us get frustrated with ourselves when we don't see improvement and results immediately with our game doesn't really make sense. So what is it that the people that achieve their goals and stick with the process have that most don't?
I believe it to be their mindset. After all, we all have bad days and even go through a bad patch or two. But what you tell yourself and what fuels you to keep in the game and not give in to the negative voice in our head telling you that you aren't good enough is a huge piece of the puzzle. Having the mindset to be able to filter through all the internal and external noise so that you can maintain your focus to improve is a must.
My Mind Body Golf gives you the tools to develop a healthy mindset to help you achieve your potential. Because having the correct mindset will allow you to tap into improving the rest of your game as well. There are after all three elements to improvement, and they are your Mind, your Body and your technique. So this book was written to give you the tools to develop yourself in all of these three areas.
Adam Stevenson is a golf coach with a passion for learning and for sharing. With several years of experience teaching in the golf industry he has found that his gift is helping golfers grow and enjoy the sport of golf more. Adam's unique style and ability to communicate with people on a personal level is what has made Adam a success and has helped him find enjoyment in what he does.
His real life approach to teaching is combined with a little bit of humour to help lighten the load so that the learning process can be a little bit more enjoyable.
Adam's first book
"Golfers Handbook - Save your golf game and your life!" was inspired by what he felt was a void in the industry to share vital information with those of us that are eager to learn and develop longterm skills.
Adam has now written this book with the exact same enthusiam as his first book which is inspiring and contagious to say the least. His writting style is a reflexion of Adam's personality and is breath of fresh air that should be a reminder that personal development should be fun.
Adam's credential's are as a PGA Professional swing coach and a TPI level 3 Medical and Fitness coach amongst numerous other certifications.
Adam believes that even though his education and knowledge of the body - swing connection is his title on his business card, it is only a small part of what he has to offer to the industry. It is Adam's ability to coach a client through the process of improvement leading to performance which he believes is his real job day in and day out. It is this coaching style that drips from the pages of this book as he shares with you his knowledge in a digestable and enjoyable fashion.
